Welcome Song: Clap and Sing Hello (to the tune of The Farmer in the Dell)
We clap and sing hello,
We clap and sing hello,
With our friends at story time,
We clap and sing hello!
We tap and sing hello (tap knees) //
We stretch and sing hello (stretch arms up) //
We wave and sing hello (wave)

Book: Good Night, Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle and Jill McElmurry
A brand new Little Blue Truck book! I pulled it out and there were audible gasps because the kids and parents hadn’t seen it before. This is what we call pandering. 🙂 I know my preschoolers love Little Blue Truck. This book is actually a little spring time-ish given there’s a thunderstorm but who cares really?

Book: Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late! by Mo Willems
I’ve never read this particular Pigeon book out loud before and it was a blast. Lots of giggles and smiles from all ages and it’s always so fun being a dramatic pigeon.

Book: How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night? by Jane Yolen
A nice short rhyming book to wrap things up. Jane Yolen’s dinosaurs book are always a hit.
