This was my first time doing an author study and I really enjoyed it! I decided to do Mo Willems because, obviously. And while I know kids have read a ton of his books, I wasn’t sure they’d looked at his style with a critical eye or if they knew much about him as a person.
Also, I realized after I’d wrapped up the video that I should have read one of his books! I will definitely do that for my next author study …
